Site audits comprise a list of evaluation criteria called audit categories to be rated for a property. Aspire supports site audit types so that sets of audit categories can be defined for different types of site audits. For example, you might have a site audit type for maintenance and another for irrigation.

When you perform an audit, choose the audit type, and Aspire provides the appropriate categories for comment and scoring. Audit categories may apply to multiple item types. 

The following table provides an example of a setup of Audit Categories and Audit Types:

Before a site audit can be performed, you must first set up the site audit types and site audit categories by going to the Site Audits section of the Administration menu. First, define the list of SA types from the Site Audit Types Search List screen. Once the types are defined you can define the categories from the Site Audit Categories Search List screen.

 Evaluating Site Audit Categories 

Before evaluating a site audit category, follow the steps below to configure a site audit type: 

1. Navigate to the Administration menu. 

2. Click Site Audit

3. Select Types. 

4. Choose an existing Site Audit Type and update the name of the SA Type. 

OR

5. Click New to create a New Site Audit Type and an SA Type name. 

6. Choose from one of the six Site Audit Scale Types to assign to the SA Type. Click here to view details about the available Site Audit Scale types.  


Once you have configured a Site Audit type by assigning a name and a site audit scale to the SA Type, take the following steps to evaluate a site audit category: 

1. Go to the Main Menu. 

2. Select Properties 

3. Click on a property from the search list to view the details screen of the selected property. 

4. Click the hyperlink in the Previous Site Audit field.

 

5. Click on the Site Audit name associated with the Site Audit Type containing the assigned Site Audit scale. 

6. You will see the Site Audit Scale type dropdown field on the right side of the evaluation category. Click on the dropdown to select or change the rating from the scale. 

  1.  If you selected No Scale as the scaling type, the scale type field will not appear on your screen.
